• He has also worked as a registrar at GMC, Chandrapur (Nov 2017 – March 2018) and as a senior resident at Dr. R. N. Cooper hospital and HBT Medical College, Mumbai for a brief period of time.
• Dr. Sagar Daliya has done a fellowship in Joint Replacement from Mumbai. His Fellowship training covered 800+ surgeries involving total knee replacement, partial knee replacement, total hip replacements, and revision replacement surgeries at various hospitals in Mumbai like H.N. reliance hospital, P. D. Hinduja Hospital, Breach candy hospital, Bombay Hospital, Saifee Hospital, etc.
• Special emphasis during this training was on the "SUBVASTUS technique" of total knee replacement. In this technique, the quadriceps muscle (thigh muscles or the quads, as they are commonly known) are kept intact in contradiction to other techniques (median parapatellar and mid vast technique of knee replacement) where the muscle is split, thus offering a speedy recovery and minimal pain to the patient.
• During the fellowship he was also trained in the technique of computer-assisted surgeries, navigation knee surgeries ( which improves the precision of the surgery), minimal incision subcastes knee replacement, partial knee replacement, and subcastes revision total knee replacements. He has also trained in the use of cruciate-retaining implants, in which one of the ligaments (posterior cruciate ligament) of the knee is preserved.
• He also has a keen interest in academics having contributed to 3 original articles and working on more. He has also been an active part of various academic activities at Cooper hospital.
